Marilyn Manson has revealed another side of his art with an exhibition of paintings in Russia. The collection, called “Evil Blooms in Watercolour”, is displayed at the M&J Guelman Gallery in Moscow. For exmaple, one piece named Alice, shows a pig coming out from a naked woman’s breast. Gallery owner Marat Guelman, said Marilyn's "artworks are just an extension of him."About twenty works by the singer are showcased running until December 7.
Manson wants to act on a comic musical - 2007-09-28
Rumours spread said that Marilyn Manson wants to act in the forthcoming Spider-Man musical. It looks like the rocker is a large admirer of the comics, and has reportedly asked director Julie Taymor at the premiere of her new film “Across the Universe” if he could have a part in the new musical. According to circulating reports, the musical which presents tracks from Bono and the Edge of U2 fame, is looking for “a huge theater” in New York in order to stage the production.

Manson also thinks in the differemt paths life takes him, considering he was born Brian Warner in Canton. "I suppose the best comparison is a diary, but I don't keep a diary," says Manson, who debuted in 1994 with the support of Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. "When I listen to it now, you can see and hear almost an entire arc, as if it were fictional, of me struggling with who I wanted to be and regaining my strength as a person."
